This project was developed in the iconic building of the Sant Antoni Market in Barcelona. It was carried out with the objective of covering the exterior commercial stalls with slatted pergolas. To do this, a system of pergolas with motorised slats was implemented. In renovating the market, efforts were made to retain the original essence it had when it was created in 1882.
Installation of 75 BT pergolas and 14 Suntech Aerolux pergolas, in RAL 7032 (grey). They make up a made-to-measure covering system of motorised slats for protection from the sun and rain. The pergolas include LED lighting in the slats and perimeter to guarantee adequate light for the stalls. The pergola system is supported by a metal structure, which is also made-to-measure, made up of galvanised steel pillars and crossbars and painted in RAL 7032 grey. The structural system channels rainwater inside. Finally, the spaces of each stall are separated using manual curtains.
