The Hotel Crowne Plaza Fira Center is a hotel on the edge of the Poble Nou district of Barcelona. The hotel's terrace has been furnished with a range of products from Outdoor Solutions to provide sun protection for its various areas and thereby seeking the comfort and convenience of its guests. Altogether 3 Smooth pergolas, 4 Asgard pergolas, 2 Soliday sunsails, 7 Ibiza S sunshades and a bespoke pergola, made at the client’s request, shade the penthouse terrace of this hotel in Barcelona.
The hotel has two terraces. One of which defines the dining area, where breakfasts and meals are served. Here, 3 Smooth pergolas have been installed and shade a surface area of 170 m². These pergolas, which are lacquered in anthracite and include grey Buram canvas, are equipped with ceiling lighting.
The other terrace is furnished with three other products from Outdoor Solutions. The Asgard pergola is one of these, and 4 units have been installed, with curtains, covering 50 m² of the bar area. This is the ideal model to install on pre-existing structures. Two Soliday System C sunsails, with sun and wind sensors, extend out from the structure of the Asgard pergolas, in the terrace's seating area. Motorised sunsails, with an anthracite lacquered structure and grey Buram canvas. Both cover an area of 42 m².
The client wished to shade the chill out area for greater client comfort, and so IASO has installed another fully customized pergola.
Lastly, 7 Ibiza S sunshades of Ø2.20 m each have been installed in the pool area. This sunshade model is notable for its lightness and resistance, which are ideal for providing shade in a sunbed area.
