The E.S. TACO Nº77493 petrol station, located in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Canary Islands, has been completely renovated. It has a new metal-structured marquee and a new service building.
The marquee, which covers the petrol pumps, has ETFE cushions of variable dimensions which provide shelter for a total surface area of 142 m². The most notable feature is the lighting projected in the cushions, which is possible thanks to being printed on both layers, not to mention the thermal comfort and brightness that users of the petrol station will enjoy.
The new marquee has 24 ETFE cushions centred on the structure, which has a square floor plan and with an axis of symmetry. All the cushions are formed of two layers, each with a different type of printing to be able to control the passage of light during the day and the projected lighting at night-time.
The system of conduits is hidden inside the structure, leaving only the connection to the cushion visible.
