PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project involves conditioning the hotel lobby and improving its energy efficiency by means of a transparent ETFE skylight with cables, in the shape of a dodecagon 5.5m in diameter and 23.5m² in area.

BASE TÉCNICA

TECHNICAL BASE

The membrane is fastened along the perimeter with an aluminium tensile frame and an L-shaped, folded-sheet secondary metallic structure, coated in RAL 2006, with nuts for fastening and tightening the cables.

The membrane is fastened on the bottom with stainless steel cables to prevent it from moving and keep it perfectly taut. The structure contains a small hole through which it is possible to thread the power cord of the fan installed in the middle of the skylight.
